Elizabeth von Isser, ISAP
|
Elizabeth's unique life-experience provides the ideal blend of analytical, spiritual and creative energy to her paintings as she propels us into an exquisite world of the often un-noticed miracles of creation that surround us.
|
Elizabeth von Isser grew up in the Midwest and moved to Tucson in the early 80’s to
work as a manufacturing engineer for a major defense contractor. Marriage and
motherhood re-aligned her priorities and in 2005 with the support of her family, she left
her corporate job to pursue a career in art.
Elizabeth chooses to work with acrylic paints because of their brilliant color, rapid drying
characteristics and, since she paints in her home studio, the non-toxic work environment
they provide her and her family.
She is most well known for her intriguing floral paintings. Being nearsighted all her life
was a challenge that has proven to be a blessing by revealing a world that goes
unnoticed by most. She hopes you will join her and see the beauty of God’s creation
with renewed appreciation.
Elizabeth von Isser’s paintings have appeared in national juried competitions and a
national museum tour throughout the United States. Elizabeh was awarded Signature
Membership in 2009 by the International Society of Acrylic Painters.
