| When we moved into our home 15 years ago, we had 5 rosebushes in our backyard. I have managed to kill all but one, and the one that remains continues to put out the most beautiful roses in spite of my black thumb. These roses defy color definition, as they are variations of pink, peach, salmon and yellow all within the same bloom. I never tire of looking at them – and their scent is divine too! I currently have two ‘Canyon de la Rosa’ paintings, this being the second in the series; both of the same rose bloom, just different views or sections. I can envision at least two more to come. |
