Hello,
Creative Reflections Art Studio recently celebrated our one year anniversary! Elizabeth
and I have learned a lot this past year and are looking forward to building on the
foundation we have established.
One of the areas that we know we need to improve upon is communication. How many of
you even knew that we had started a business one year ago? We are in the process of
developing a periodic email newsletter and have recently created a website. Please check

If you would like to see some of Elizabeth's paintings in person, she has six paintings
displayed (for sale) at Spice Bistro, 10235 N. La Canada Drive, Oro Valley 85737 and two at
J&R Framing Gallery, 6460 N. Oracle Road, Tucson, AZ 85704. The painting “Into the Deep”,
which is displayed (for sale) at J&R Framing Gallery, was awarded “People’s Choice Award”
in the Greater Oro Valley Arts Council’s fifth annual contest this past July.
On our website there is a link you may click on to “rate” Elizabeth’s paintings. The link will
take you to a website called: Art Face Off. If you also want to rate other artists you may go
to www.artfaceoff.com and register and then vote. (Your votes count more if you are
“signed in”). This website is striving to build a flourishing world art community that
connects artists, curators and art lovers through the vigor of healthy competition.
According to its home page, "As a community, we vote to choose the next great artists of
our times. Our Face Off competitions are designed to promote all artists and encourage
everyone to participate. We are different. We are a free unique democratic community
driven to advance the arts worldwide." We encourage you to check it out!
We are currently researching the best resources available to make giclees (prints on
canvas), prints, note cards and tiles of Elizabeth’s originals. It would help us considerably
if we had an idea of which painting(s) you favor. Thank you.
Elizabeth recently submitted “Star of Hope”, “Shadow Play”, and “Flirtation” into the
“Blossom ~ the Art of Flowers” art competition. Paintings selected by the eminently-
qualified jury will be featured in a premiere exhibition at the Houston Museum of Natural
Science in Houston, Texas. Artist notification will be November 15, 2006.
February 11-23, 2007, there will be a solo exhibition of Elizabeth’s paintings in the Little
Gallery at DeGrazia’s Gallery in the Sun. We will send you an invitation to the artist
reception as we get closer to this event.
Northern Trust Bank will host a solo exhibition and reception for Elizabeth in the summer
of 2007 (date of the reception to be determined). Her original paintings will be displayed
from June though August through out Northern Trust Bank’s impressive lobby. You will be
receiving an invitation from Northern Trust Bank to attend the reception.
